Wreath Card

Thanks for stopping by today fellow crafters!!

Well as I said in my FB post today I promised to show you what my day in the craft room brought me.  Well quite a lot actually but it turns out I can’t show you  some of the cards I made today as the special people I created them for haven’t received them yet but here is one i can show you.

This is a wreath made using a template for the Stamparatus so that you get a perfect round wreath!  I spent an hour or so make my template for it but now that I have it, I can make so many more of these cute little cards.  I used the flowers from the Colorful Seasons stamp set and used the new in colours, lovely lipstick, grapefruit grove and pineapple punch.

The background is embossed used the swirls embossing folder (retired).  As I didn’t have any lovely lipstick card stock I used Real Red to put behind the wreath and it blends in quite well I thought.   I heat embossed the sentiment with copper embossing powder and added a copper ribbon bow just to the side of the wreath (I smudged the stamp so this covers my boo boo!) we are only human and we do make mistakes but hey in stampin you can always cover it up!!!    Quite happy with one of my projects today.

I would love to know what you would like to see me make.  Send me your requests!!!  It can be any theme, project or card!

Hope you like today’s card and hope you all have a fabulous day!

Keep on Stampin!

Conservatory card

Well Monday is here so instead of having the Monday blues I decided to get straight to work in the craft studio and try some things that I have been wanting to do.   One project in particular was a conservatory card which I have seen on Pinterest but wanted to put my own spin on it.  So here it is!  It folds flat and can be written on the back.  It uses the acetate sheets and the door and windows are made from the Hearth and Home framelits.  The chairs and table are from the Seasonal Framelits and the sentiment is from Just sitting here stamp set as is the pot of flowers on the table.  For my first effort I am pretty pleased with it the door is a little crooked but hey I’m no carpenter :)!

Hope you liked today’s project and thanks for stopping by my blog!  Please see below for the products used in this project and if you would like to order any of them, please hop on over to my online shop.

Just Breathe

Hi everyone, well after a week of rain and several cancelled camping trips over the last few weeks, we are very excited to be getting away for a quick two nighter in our camper trailer.  Just had to do up a quick card to show that there’s a card for every occasion, including camping!!!   Thought I would take it away with me in case we run into any other Jayco owners and would pass it on.  It was so quick and easy with the DSP from the Pick a pattern DSP.  I used one side for the pictures and the reverse side to frame it.  The double sided DSP (designer series papers) are so versatile and all co-ordinating.   If you don’t have a lot of stamps think of using DSP to decorate your cards.  Check out all the beautiful papers in the catalogue.  The JUST BREATHE sentiment is from the Colorful Seasons stamp set stamped in Emerald Envy.  Colorful Seasons is also a very versatile stamp set.

Hope you all have a great weekend!!
