Now let me get back to the craft room and see what else I can give away! See you on the 9th if not before!
Good morning my lovelies,
Getting a little cooler here in Brissy today but loving the beautiful weather. I have been a busy bee as I have discovered a new little hobby in rock painting! Yes will post a pic one day but still practicing. However today I remember that I saw the colours in today’s card on a dress that a newsreader somewhere was wearing and thought mmmmm that would make nice card colours. Amazing where you find inspiration! So this is what I came up with. As you may have gathered I am loving the new Magnolia Lane Suite which is available as of June 3 and we will get to play with it at the launch day on 9th June. (don’t forget to book in and reserve your seat/table on 0419721561 will be a great fun day!)
A very simple card and in the photo you may not be able to see it clearly but I have also used the Subtle embossing folder on the grey card front. I then cut a 3cm strip of black and a 2.5cm strip of copper foil. I heat embossed the image of the small magnolia with copper heat embossing powder and cut the image out using the die through the big shot. This was on Petal Pink cardstock. Punched out black, basic grey and copper leaves using the leaf punch and put it altogether. A very simple but elegant card me thinks!!!
Hope you like it. The products I used are listed below and are, apart from the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle, are all currently available from my safe and secure 24/7 shop online store. Just click on the link here on my blog page and it will take you to my store! While you are there you can check out the clearance rack for some great bargains!!!
Hope to see you on 9th June for a fun day so until next time, keep on crafting!

It was so nice to have us three together we don’t do it often enough! Thank you to my beautiful husband who put up with all the giggles and laughter!
I will also have some pre loved stamp sets and dies for sale on the day as well as some cards and a couple of home decor items on sale as well.

Until next time, keep on crafting!
Good afternoon all my lovelies out there!
Oh boy have I had fun today creating some cards to share with you using some of our beautiful new products. My current favourite being the Magnolia Lane Bundle. I just love Magnolias and these stamps and dies are to die for! Hahaha!! The DSP is also extremely beautiful. You can see one piece of the DSP in this pictures shown.
CARD NUMBER 1
The first card is using the silver embossing paste and the brick wall stencil to create a background for the large magnolia flower which I have stamped in Crumb Cake only very lightly and then lightly coloured using water in an Aqua pen and the ink pad (use the opposite side of the pad as a palette). I have used Petal Pink and Old Olive to do the colours. The sentiment is from the Painted Glass set and embossed using silver heat embossing powder. I have added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels for a bit of bling. The card front is on whisper white and is mounted on Soft Sea Foam cardstock
CARD NUMBER 2
Check out this beautiful white embossed cardstock made by using the new Lace 3D embossing folder. I have added a strip of some of the Magnolia Lane DSP and again I have coloured two smaller magnolias using Petal Pink and Old Olive. The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle and us mounted on an Oval Stitched die. The Thanks is heat embossed in gold and the Petal Pink flourishes surround it is a stamp from the Magnolia Lane set as well. A simple but elegant card.
The Magnolia Bundle will be available as of June 3rd when the new catalogue is launched. To play with these great products before you buy though you could think about coming to our launch day on 9th June cost is $60 and includes everything to make 5 cards, lunch and afternoon tea, prize draws throughout the day, a free gift for all attendees and you automatically go into the draw to win a basket of goodies valued at over $50. Call me to book your seat/s on 0419721461.
Hope you like today’s cards, please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Until next time, keep on crafting.
Just a quick post today as I have spent most of the day in the craft room making these and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Apologies to the neighbours if my singing was too loud but it is so much fun crafting with my music blaring and me singing out of tune to my playlist
Don’t you just love these tea light flowers? I was inspired by another demonstrator Kareth Sims in America who made some using the light bulb punch. But as I don’t have the light bulb punch a light bulb moment occurred to me to use the Daisy Punch. Maybe a little bit more tedious but so much fun to make. Would make lovely table decorations for a special occasion don’t you think? Let me know how you would use them!
The card in the background is a card that we did at a technique class recently using the embossing paste. Loooooove this stuff, so much fun to play with and colour too!
The butterfly is water coloured in pastel tones similar to a card in a recent catalogue. Do you know which one???
Couple of questions for you to answer here today! Would love some of your feedback.
Well until next time, keep on crafting.
Good afternoon my lovelies!
Well Hubby is out mowing the lawn so I have been in my craft room creating once again. I recently did a succulent wreath class (with real plants) with one of my beautiful Daughters in law and I thought I could do a flower wreath from my punches and dies. I have seen a lot on Pinterest etc but this is what I came up with.
I wanted to use up some DSP so used it to make some of the flowers. This added colours. I had a couple of injuries mind you!! LOL, burnt myself on my hot glue gun, pierced myself with my paper piercer while unclogging an old glue bottle (not SU). Then I ran out of hot glue so a trip to Bunnings and came back with not just the glue but a few plants for the actual garden. Have you ever gone to the shops just to buy one thing and come back with just that one thing? MMmmm never happens to me!
The wooden sentiment and the actual wreath are the only things that aren’t Stampin Up as I had some of these in my drawers to use. I think it makes a nice home decor piece!
I used Wonderful Romance stamps and dies for most of the foliage and punches for the flowers. The list of products is below if you would like to order any of the products. Unfortunately the Pansy Punch is retired but you can use any of the new punches.
I will also take any orders for floral wreaths in a colour and theme to suit your occasion. Costs start at $30 (Could vary depending on size etc). Call me on 0419721561 to order.
Would love to know what you think!
Well back to the craft room to clean up my mess that I made!
Hope you all have a fabulous day!
Good afternoon all my lovelies,
Mother’s Day is just around the corner so I thought I would share a lovely card I have done using the beautiful Tea Time Dies and Tea Together Stamp Set. The stamp set is currently available in the Occasions Catalog, however I have it on good authority that these will be carried over into the new catalog. How beautiful are they? I like the easel style cards for these special occasions as they can sit up nicely and the recipient can enjoy for a long time to come.
If you are coming to my launch of the 2019/2020 catalog on 9th June you will be able to view these products and many more fantastic products and get to play with some. Have you booked your seat or table yet? Call me on 0419721561 to book a place or book a table with some friends for a fun filled day. Lots of prizes to be won and also I will have some pre loved stamp sets for sale.
The Gingham DSP will be retiring so if you are after these gorgeous papers, be sure to get your orders in now!
A list of the products used in this easel card are listed below for your convenience.
Hope you like today’s card! Let me know if you would like to order any of the products or hold a workshop where you can earn some for free!
Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Happy Easter Everyone!
Hope this finds you all well and happy on this beautiful Easter Long Weekend.
Just a quick post today so that it gives you time to get your head around all the wonderful products that will be retiring, (Sad face)! Here are some pics of what will be going! Cannot believe that some of my favourites will be going BUT and there is always a BUT, I have had a peak look at what is coming and you will have your mind blown away by some of the new products coming to Stampin Up. I need to make room on my stamp shelf so will be selling some pre loved stamp sets soon.
I guess the biggest news is that a lot of the tools will be going like the Big Shot and Stampin Trimmer but we have been told that this is only temporary and that SU may be bringing in alternatives but all the dies and embossing folders will fit any new products they bring out so don’t despair!
If you have been wanting anything on these lists ensure you place your order with me as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as some items are starting to sell out already.
So check out these pics and start making your wish list!
Look forward to receiving your orders!
Have a great day!
Hello again my lovelies,
We had a fun and messy technique class today with Chris and Tina making some beautiful cards. The techniques they learnt today were:-
- How to use embossing paste and how to colour it using re-inkers and to apply the embossing paste as a background to your card or project.
- Bleaching technique without bleach.
- Flower making – two types of flower
Here are the cards we made.
The dragonfly card is using the embossing paste and we also used Stampin Write markers to colour in the dragonfly. We also heat embossed the dragonfly in black embossing powder first and the sentiment also is black heat embossed.
The second card we did the bleaching technique (without bleach). This technique is best used with dark colours. The ladies first heat embossed the image with white embossing powder then brayered the card in their choice of ink. Water is used to “bleach” the ink off the image.
The third card we learnt how to make the two different types of flowers. A long process but a great effect in the end.
Hope you liked today’s cards and if you would like to come along to any of my classes check out my FB page for classes and events that are coming up or call me to find out more details 0419721561. Remember all classes require prior booking and preferably payment prior as there is preparation required for all classes.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Hope to see you at one of my classes soon!
Just released is the list of retiring products from the 2018 Annual Catalogue. If there is something on this list that you really want, you better get in quick, apparently some products have low inventory status already. Please check out the lists from both the Occasions Catalogue and the current annual catalogues.
