Scrapbook Page Reveal!

Hello my lovelies,

Earlier today I posted a pic on my FB page when I first started this project.  I have spent ALL day in the craft room working on it while hubby outside in the garden!  Talking about living separate lives!  Anyway this is a photo of my gorgeous parents and my dad’s mum, my Gran who I have such beautiful fond memories of.  I’ve been wanting to do another scrapbook page for awhile and wanted to use all or mostly Stampin Up products (as I have so many!).  Well here is the result and I can honestly say there are only a couple of embellishments, that aren’t SU.  All the inks and stamps (oh the text stamp isn’t SU only as I don’t have the SU one which is similar).  I even made the bluish flowers using Brushos and water on paper and cutting them out so that they matched the brusho ink I used to add a little colour.  All the frames are cut out using stitched framelits and the sentiment is from the Well Said stamp set which I just love.  It has so many words and sentiments and is still available in the Occasions catalogue.  Well I hope you like this page, please let me know what you think.

I am not sure when I will be posting again as I am having a procedure done tomorrow and may be laid up in bed for a few days!  Hope you all have a great week and until next time,

Keep on craftin!!!

Simple Stamping

Good afternoon my lovelies,

Well we had the electrician here today so I hid myself in my craft room.  I woke up the other morning at about 3am and had a vision of a pattern and I remembered that I had to put into use.  Stampin Up have a Simple Stamping challenge at the moment and this design certainly meets that brief, I think.  If you don’t have much DSP don’t forget that you can use your stamps to create a beautiful pattern that mimicks DSP (Designer Series Paper).  The stamp set I used was one I haven’t used in awhile but is one of my all time favourites and is very versatile.  Its the Swirly Bird Stamp Set and is available in the Annual Catalogue.  Although I purchased this stamp set for the larger images and the framelits, I hadn’t used the smaller stamps.  So today’s card is using the little flowers and the stems and the background dot splotches!  The colours I used are Petal Pink, Mint Macaron and crumb cake and stamped randomly on Very Vanilla Cardstock.  I sponged around the edge of the card in Crumb Cake as well.  I added some pearls to give it a real Laura Ashley look!  I think it meets all the criteria for a simple stamping card.  The sentiment is using some wording from the Well Said stamp set which is just amazing for sentiments.  I hope they carry it over to the new catalogue.  I hope you like it.  Let me know what you think!

The products used are listed below and if you would like to purchase any of these please be sure to click on my 24/7 online shop.   I would love to see some of your simple stamping projects.  Share them here with me would love to see them.

Well hope you all have a great weekend!

April Coffee and Card Class

Another lovely Coffee and Card Class today with six beautiful ladies all having a fun time.   Gail, Judy, Helen, Gloria, Petra and Dell thank you all for coming and making it a fun morning once again.

Today’s card was a country theme card using the hardwood background stamp with some sunflowers from the Painted Harvest Stamp set.  An easy card with a great result.

If you’ve ever been to one of my Coffee and Card classes you will know that everyone receives a free gift and this month it was a tiny tote bag with a cake of soap inside.

Barb’s Birthday Card

Hi my lovelies!

You may remember the other day I was working in the craft room and couldn’t share one of the cards I was making, well my lovely sister Barb has now received her card and so I can now share it with you.  In this card I have embossed the background using the lovely floral embossing folder and then I have used Stampin Markers to colour a little on the flowers.  The sentiment frame is a framelit from the beautiful Wonderful Romance bundle still available in the Occasions Catalogue.  The flowers are from the Painted Seasons stamp set unfortunately no longer available as a Saleabration item.  But we never know, hoping this set will carry over to the Annual Catalogue.  The little flowers are from cut using a tiny flower punch from stamped flower images.  The cardstock is blackberry bliss and whisper white.  I also added some copper metallic thread for a bit of bling!

Barb loved her card and I hope you do to.  Happy Birthday Barb!!

Don’t forget even though Saleabration is over, the Occasions Catalogue still has some beautiful products and available until 3rd June.  Check out the catalogue here on my blog page.

I will be holding a wonderful Stampin Up Event on Sunday 9th June at my place to launch the great new 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue.  Its a full day of card making, prizes, fun and food!  Would love to have you come so you can book now and reserve your seat or a table of friends, call me on 0419721561 or email me at bethwynn101@hotmail.com.  Cost is $60 and includes lunch and afternoon tea with tea and coffee available all day!!!  Lots of prize draws as well!   Would love to see you!

Well that’s about it for now hope you have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by.

Wreath Card

Thanks for stopping by today fellow crafters!!

Well as I said in my FB post today I promised to show you what my day in the craft room brought me.  Well quite a lot actually but it turns out I can’t show you  some of the cards I made today as the special people I created them for haven’t received them yet but here is one i can show you.

This is a wreath made using a template for the Stamparatus so that you get a perfect round wreath!  I spent an hour or so make my template for it but now that I have it, I can make so many more of these cute little cards.  I used the flowers from the Colorful Seasons stamp set and used the new in colours, lovely lipstick, grapefruit grove and pineapple punch.

The background is embossed used the swirls embossing folder (retired).  As I didn’t have any lovely lipstick card stock I used Real Red to put behind the wreath and it blends in quite well I thought.   I heat embossed the sentiment with copper embossing powder and added a copper ribbon bow just to the side of the wreath (I smudged the stamp so this covers my boo boo!) we are only human and we do make mistakes but hey in stampin you can always cover it up!!!    Quite happy with one of my projects today.

I would love to know what you would like to see me make.  Send me your requests!!!  It can be any theme, project or card!

Hope you like today’s card and hope you all have a fabulous day!

Keep on Stampin!

PAINTED SEASONS – DISTINKTIVE!

Well good morning all my lovelies,

Hope you are all well and here in Brisbane we have been enjoying some well needed rain, a few bad storms but the rain is certainly welcome!

During the storm yesterday there was a little sunshine in my craft room!!  I had Tilly the dog quivering at my feet but I did manage to make this simple stamped card using the new and beautiful Painted Seasons stamp set.  If you haven’t already seen a Distinktive stamp, this is one of the best.  These stamps are manufactured a little different to normal stamps to give you a beautiful textured and shaded look on your stamped images.  You will notice in the catalogues these are marked with a Distinktive icon.  There are some techniques you may need to know when using these beautiful stamps one of the most important tips is that you should always use a paper piercing mat beneath your card stock when stamping with these stamps.  This gives a clearer stamped image.  I hope you can see from the images the exquisite shading that these have.  SU make it so simple to be an artist!  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Well Written framelits and these are cut out in Mint Macaroon card stock and I also remembered to use the multipurpose adhesive sheets which are a must when cutting out wording or fine thinlets etc.  I am hoping to do a video for you soon on the multipurpose adhesive sheets as they are just a great product.

The colours used are Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaroon.  The small dot stamp is Crumb Cake.  I love this colour combo and I hope you do too!

Well off to get started on that video folks!  Hope you like today’s card, please let me know what you think and don’t forget to check out this blog site to shop on line or to view the current catalogues.  If you would like to sign up for my monthly newsletter please also click on the link.  By joining my newsletter you automatically become a VIP member and can receive discounts on classes and find out first about upcoming classes, specials and events.

Please if you have any queries or requests on what you would like to see on any cards, please let me know!

Salebration ends on 31/3/2019 so if you are wanting any free stamp sets better get your orders in!

Don’t forget my competition where if you spend over $50 on any order, attend any class or workshop between now and April 31st, you will automatically go into the draw to win a gift valued at over $50.

Hope you all have a fantastic day.

Keep on stampin!

Another great Coffee and Card Class!

Well good morning my lovelies and what a morning it has been!

The monthly Coffee and Card class was the biggest yet with 6 ladies attending.  Of course I forgot to take photos until two ladies had left sorry Gail and Judy!!

IMG_2109

We made this card today and the ladies had a choice of four colours incorporating the Gingham Gala, Delightful Daisy and Painted Harvest sets.  Of course the Daisy punch was used to punch out the stamped daisies!  You might be able to see from the photo the different colours used and all co-ordinated beautifully.  Stampin Up make it so simple for colour co-ordination.

So we all sponged around the three front sections including the Gingham Gala piece.  The sentiment is from the gorgeous Wonderful Romance bundle.  The sentiment was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White and we used the circle punch to punch it out and then sponged around that.  It was adhered using Stampin Dimensionals.  We also used the Wink of Stella pen to add a little sparkle to the Daisy.  Also stamped the fern and leaf images from the Painted Harvest set and punch a few leaves out with the leaf punch.  A lot of different products used but we were finished well within out time limits and all the ladies were very happy with the results.  This card really showcases the Daisy punch and the Gingham Gala paper really well.

All of the products used are listed below and if you would like to order any please call me or order through my shop here online.

Hope you like today’s card as much as the ladies did making them.  Next Coffee and Card class is on Tuesday 9th April at 9.30am, Round Table Coffee, Gawain Road Bracken Ridge.  Cost is $5 you purchase your own coffee though.  A great fun morning. Bookings essential so call me on 0419721561 as I can only fit in about 7 ladies at a time!

Until next time, keep on Stampin!

TODAY’S PROJECT

Today’s card which is not a card it is actually a little treat box.  I have had this set for a while now and have been itching to make something with it.  I love to cook and what better stamp set and framelits to own than this one!  The little utensils are so cute and it can be for male or female as there are BBQ utensils as well.  So versatile.  Don’t forget when you purchase a new stamp set or bundle always look at the little stamps and framelits they can come in handy when you just can’t find something to add to that special little project.  The little flowers in this set are adorable and I can see I will use them not just when using this set but with so many other sets as well.

Would love to know your thoughts on this little treat box, please leave a comment here on my blog!

I haven’t filled the box yet because I haven’t baked anything to go into it but plan on making some little tiny cookies to fill it with to give to someone special.  MMmmmmm who could that be????
