Well good morning all my lovelies,
Hope you are all well and here in Brisbane we have been enjoying some well needed rain, a few bad storms but the rain is certainly welcome!
During the storm yesterday there was a little sunshine in my craft room!! I had Tilly the dog quivering at my feet but I did manage to make this simple stamped card using the new and beautiful Painted Seasons stamp set. If you haven’t already seen a Distinktive stamp, this is one of the best. These stamps are manufactured a little different to normal stamps to give you a beautiful textured and shaded look on your stamped images. You will notice in the catalogues these are marked with a Distinktive icon. There are some techniques you may need to know when using these beautiful stamps one of the most important tips is that you should always use a paper piercing mat beneath your card stock when stamping with these stamps. This gives a clearer stamped image. I hope you can see from the images the exquisite shading that these have. SU make it so simple to be an artist! The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Well Written framelits and these are cut out in Mint Macaroon card stock and I also remembered to use the multipurpose adhesive sheets which are a must when cutting out wording or fine thinlets etc. I am hoping to do a video for you soon on the multipurpose adhesive sheets as they are just a great product.
The colours used are Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaroon. The small dot stamp is Crumb Cake. I love this colour combo and I hope you do too!
Well off to get started on that video folks! Hope you like today’s card, please let me know what you think and don’t forget to check out this blog site to shop on line or to view the current catalogues. Keep on stampin!
Well good morning my lovelies and what a morning it has been!
The monthly Coffee and Card class was the biggest yet with 6 ladies attending. Of course I forgot to take photos until two ladies had left sorry Gail and Judy!!
We made this card today and the ladies had a choice of four colours incorporating the Gingham Gala, Delightful Daisy and Painted Harvest sets. Of course the Daisy punch was used to punch out the stamped daisies! You might be able to see from the photo the different colours used and all co-ordinated beautifully. Stampin Up make it so simple for colour co-ordination.
So we all sponged around the three front sections including the Gingham Gala piece. The sentiment is from the gorgeous Wonderful Romance bundle. The sentiment was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White and we used the circle punch to punch it out and then sponged around that. It was adhered using Stampin Dimensionals. We also used the Wink of Stella pen to add a little sparkle to the Daisy. Also stamped the fern and leaf images from the Painted Harvest set and punch a few leaves out with the leaf punch. A lot of different products used but we were finished well within out time limits and all the ladies were very happy with the results. This card really showcases the Daisy punch and the Gingham Gala paper really well.
All of the products used are listed below and if you would like to order any please call me or order through my shop here online.
Hope you like today’s card as much as the ladies did making them. Next Coffee and Card class is on Tuesday 9th April at 9.30am, Round Table Coffee, Gawain Road Bracken Ridge. Until next time, keep on Stampin!

If you would like to come along it is $25 which includes making three cards with the techniques that we learn and also includes all supplies and refreshments.
Today’s card which is not a card it is actually a little treat box. I have had this set for a while now and have been itching to make something with it. I love to cook and what better stamp set and framelits to own than this one! The little utensils are so cute and it can be for male or female as there are BBQ utensils as well. So versatile. Don’t forget when you purchase a new stamp set or bundle always look at the little stamps and framelits they can come in handy when you just can’t find something to add to that special little project. The little flowers in this set are adorable and I can see I will use them not just when using this set but with so many other sets as well.
Would love to know your thoughts on this little treat box, please leave a comment here on my blog!
I haven’t filled the box yet because I haven’t baked anything to go into it but plan on making some little tiny cookies to fill it with to give to someone special. MMmmmmm who could that be????

Good afternoon my lovelies!
Well had a great holiday but couldn’t wait to get back into the craft room. So have spent today prepping for my Coffee and Card Class on Tuesday, I have 6 lovely ladies coming and can’t wait to catch up with them all. Still time if you would like to come along. Its at 9.30am at Round Table Coffee on Gawain Road Bracken Ridge. Call me on 0419721561 if you are interested.
Today’s card is actually the card I have made for my Mum’s Birthday which is on Saturday. She is in a nursing home with Alzheimer’s so she won’t see it so I am sharing it with you before I actually give it to her.
I did white heat embossing on vellum using the Beautiful Day stamp set then coloured on the back using Stampin Blends (Daffodil Delight and Old Olive). Love how this technique turns out. You do have to fussy cut the rose out though! I used the Tin Tile Dynamic embossing folder to emboss the background and the wording is from the new Well Written framelits which are just amazing and still available in the Occasions Catalogue. So many words!!!
I did punch some more leaves out using the leaf punch and a little thinlet from the Beauty Abounds set. Another great set to check out in the Occasions catalogue. I looked around for something to accentuate my picture and found this lonely little yellow rose in my garden, not quite a match and it’s not the yellow rose of Texas but it will do.
Let’s know what you think of today’s card by leaving a comment here and if you would like any of the products don’t forget to check out the product list below and then go to my online store to order. Remember it’s still Saleabration until the end of March so if you purchase $90 or more you get to choose free gifts! Check out the brochures here on my blog site!
Well that’s about it for today, hope you all have a great weekend! Stay safe and keep on stampin!!!

Good morning all!
Just came home after a fun morning of cardmaking and coffee with some lovely ladies. Dell, Gail, Gloria and Helen.
We made a gorgeous butterfly card and had some fun and great coffee as well. We fussy cut a butterfly from the Botanical Butterfly DSP and had fun colouring him with the water colour pencils and using the aqua pens to blend the colour through. The butterfly’s little antennae are made using copper thread. Hope you all enjoyed this morning as much as I did! Will see you next month.
If you would like to join us once a month for the Coffee and Card Class, please call me on 0419721561 to book your seat! It is held at 9.30am on the second Tuesday of each month at Round Table Coffee Gawain Road Bracken Ridge and bookings are essential as I need to prep the cards prior to the class. Well as I always say, there are no mistakes or accidents in crafting, they are all creative opportunities. This was never so true as just last week I ordered some A4 magnetic sheets to house my framelits and dies however I accidentally ordered very thin sheets which are no good for holding the dies. I was in Kmart with the MOTH (man of the house) and saw some magnetic frames in the technology department and I have some on my fridge already, and thought hey I could make some of them with those useless thin magnetic sheets.
So here is the outcome. Nothing goes to waste and mistakes are always creative opportunities. The designs are limitless.
I used the new Rectangle stitched framelits (love these and are available in the current occasions catalogue) to cut the frame out using any DSP. With the largest Framelit I cut out a plain co-ordinating piece of cardstock. I adhered only three sides of the DSP (left the top open to insert a photo). Stuck some of the thin magnet sheet to the back (I cut three strips and adhered). Then decorate to however you like.
These are just two of the ones I have made and stuck on my fridge. They look so much nicer than the bought ones I had!!
Hope you like them! If you would like come and make some of these I have heaps of magnetic sheets to use up so hold some project classes to make these. Please let me know if you are interested so I can start planning the classes!!!
Hope you have a great day.
Happy Australia Day everyone!
Hope you are all keeping cool on this very hot day here in Queensland! I have been in the air con doing a long overdue video tutorial on a lovely little project – a gift bag made using the Gift Bag punch board from Stampin Up. I hope you like this project and that you give it a go. A great way of making your own gift wrapping.
The measurements for the bag are:
Cardstock 18 x 27.9cms
DSP 2 pieces 11 x 7cms
The list of products used is at the end of this blog.
If you would like any of these great products be sure to use my online store.
Hope you have a great day.
Cheers for now,
Very hot here in Brissy so in the air con crafting – Der!!! Where else would I be!!
Back into the scrapbooking with a photo of our beautiful mum at her nursing home surrounded by some of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The only non SU product is the verse in the top left corner but had this in my stash and thought it very appropriate. Because it was taken on Christmas Eve I did it in Christmas colours but also because the photo had Christmas tones in it as well. When I scrapbook I look at the photo and take my colour scheme from that. What do you do when you have a photo to scrap? Let me know how you come up with your colours and designs!
Well that’s a quick post for today, hope you like the layout.
Have a great day!
