Well we are getting excited in this household as we are off on our annual fambam get together next week camping and fishing and all things outdoorsy at Woodgate! This Grandma is so excited to see all her little (and one not so little anymore) grandbabies all in the one place as well as her two favourite sons and their beautiful wives (one soon to be wife!!). Oh don’t forget the hubby and the dog!!
Not long until Saleabration finishes so if you are after some great freebies, shop online now, spend $90 and you could get one of the beautiful stamp sets for free from the Saleabration catalogue. You can shop and buy from the annual catalogue or the occasions catalogue spend $90 and then pick and choose your free item from the Saleabration booklet. A good time to stock up on your inks or your glues or any of those beautiful products you’ve been wanting to get and you can get freebies as well! What could be better than that!
I just love the Party Pandas Stamp set and have even made some shrinkies with them for the kids!!
Well you probably won’t hear from me much over the next week or so as I will be busy packing, cooking etc for the trip and then soaking up some rays at the beach. Stay tuned for some holiday pics!!
Remember stay safe and keep on crafting!!!
Thanks for popping by today. I have been experimenting with a beautiful new technique I have found. It is called the Black Ice technique. I apologise but this image doesn’t do it justice, I am not the world’s best photographer. This is a very monochromatic look but still impressive.
I used the champagne foil sheet, black archival ink, versa mark and clear embossing powder to create the look.
If you would like to see a video please let me know and I will do one and post it. I would be interested to hear your comments on this card and the black ice technique.
Thanks again for dropping by,

Welcome to Monday! Being the second Monday of the month it was time for the coffee and card class at Roundtable Coffee in Bracken Ridge where the coffee is phenomenal! I had three lovely ladies today, Sue, Dorothy and Isa who did a great job of making the card shown here. Lots of fun. Here’s a couple of pics from today.
I think next month we may make a male card! We all seem to have trouble when it comes to making a card for the males!
If you would like to come alone, please call me to book in on 0419721461.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Well the guests have all gone, Tilly the dog is dog tired, but we have had so much fun celebrating Phoenix’s 11th birthday. The girls made two lovely cards and did such an awesome job and also a lovely handbag to put their cards in. With the french themed party there was pink and black everywhere and even some french poodles from the Birthday Delivery Suite!! The food was yummy thanks to Linda Symonds and even a couple of the dads helped out and joined in on the fun. I make the Bonjour sign for the magnetic board where I keep my thinlets and framelits! I gave this to Phoenix as she might like to put it in a frame.
How’s this for a cupcake birthday cake!!!!
These are the two cards we made. The girls also made a one sheet DSP handbag which went down a real treat. Thank you to my wonderful husband who did a great job helping out today as well as the dads who came!
Thanks for a great day everyone!!!
Today Wynning Creations hosts its very first kids birthday party with Phoenix Symonds turning 11! Phoenix wanted a Parisian themed party and her Grandma has excelled herself! So here’s a pic of the pre party preparations but stay tuned for the after party pics! The children will be making two cards and a project! So excited to be hosting this special event for Phoenix. If you have children who are into crafts and would like to have a Wynning Creations Stampin Up kids party, please contact me on 0419721561 to discuss options and ideas! OMG you should see the cake that just arrived!! Stay tuned!!
How wet is Brissy today! Can’t wait to see the beautiful green grass in a few days when it stops raining but I guess that means more mowing!!!
Had another play with the stampin blends to colour in the beautiful Springtime foils paper and then fussy cut some of the flowers out to add to this card. Love the Pink Pirouette colour that Stampin Up has. Oh and that reminds me that there is only about 8 to 9 weeks left to order your refills and colours of the incolours which will be going out so get your orders in now! Check out this video that a lovely demonstrator by the name of Helen Read created to remind everyone about the retiring products and retiring incolours. Cute video!
Hope you have a great day and stay dry and take care on the slippery roads around Brissy!
Until next time!
Welcome to Wednesday! While I have Billy asleep in our bed, thought I would whip up a quick card. Some of the ladies on Sunday were asking about sympathy cards. These are the hardest cards to make so I don’t do them very often due to the emotion involved. But as this is for no one in particular, I found it easier to make. It is using the lovely new Springtime foils from the second release Salebration catalogue. As you can see in the picture, I have coloured the flowers and petals using our stampin blends. The paper below is the uncoloured version which is just as beautiful uncoloured. These papers are absolutely devine! Hope you like the card, please let me know what you think.
Hope you have a fantastic day and see you soon!!
WOW what a day! Had a fantastic day today with the Wynning Creations launch of Saleabration and the Occasions catalogue. These beautiful ladies attended the launch today and we had so much fun! Congratulations to Sue who won the lucky chair prize which was the beautiful Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit. Hope you like your prize Sue!!!
After I demonstrated the three cards, the ladies got to work to make the cards themselves. Woohoo the Punology was getting a good workout!!
- I was reading a book on gravity and couldn’t put it down!
- How does Moses make his tea? Hebrews it!
- Broken pencils are pointless!
And so on…… fun and laughter all round!!!
Here’s some pics of what you missed out on today!
Thanks to sisters Barb and Chris for helping out and to Karen, Chris and Jeannette for coming today and of course to my beautiful cousin Trina who won the second draw which consisted of a pack of glitter enamel dots! Dorothy and Sue also learnt some great new techniques. Hope you all had a great day ladies and had as much fun as I had! I even think Tilly the dog enjoyed it!
Until next time.
Hope you are keeping dry today as its a very rainy day in Brissy!!
