Thanks for stopping by today fellow crafters!!
Well as I said in my FB post today I promised to show you what my day in the craft room brought me. Well quite a lot actually but it turns out I can’t show you some of the cards I made today as the special people I created them for haven’t received them yet but here is one i can show you.
This is a wreath made using a template for the Stamparatus so that you get a perfect round wreath! I spent an hour or so make my template for it but now that I have it, I can make so many more of these cute little cards. I used the flowers from the Colorful Seasons stamp set and used the new in colours, lovely lipstick, grapefruit grove and pineapple punch.
The background is embossed used the swirls embossing folder (retired). As I didn’t have any lovely lipstick card stock I used Real Red to put behind the wreath and it blends in quite well I thought. I heat embossed the sentiment with copper embossing powder and added a copper ribbon bow just to the side of the wreath (I smudged the stamp so this covers my boo boo!) we are only human and we do make mistakes but hey in stampin you can always cover it up!!! Quite happy with one of my projects today.
I would love to know what you would like to see me make. Send me your requests!!! It can be any theme, project or card!
Hope you like today’s card and hope you all have a fabulous day!
Keep on Stampin!
Well good morning all my lovelies,
Hope you are all well and here in Brisbane we have been enjoying some well needed rain, a few bad storms but the rain is certainly welcome!
During the storm yesterday there was a little sunshine in my craft room!! I had Tilly the dog quivering at my feet but I did manage to make this simple stamped card using the new and beautiful Painted Seasons stamp set. If you haven’t already seen a Distinktive stamp, this is one of the best. These stamps are manufactured a little different to normal stamps to give you a beautiful textured and shaded look on your stamped images. You will notice in the catalogues these are marked with a Distinktive icon. There are some techniques you may need to know when using these beautiful stamps one of the most important tips is that you should always use a paper piercing mat beneath your card stock when stamping with these stamps. This gives a clearer stamped image. I hope you can see from the images the exquisite shading that these have. SU make it so simple to be an artist! The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Well Written framelits and these are cut out in Mint Macaroon card stock and I also remembered to use the multipurpose adhesive sheets which are a must when cutting out wording or fine thinlets etc. I am hoping to do a video for you soon on the multipurpose adhesive sheets as they are just a great product.
The colours used are Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaroon. The small dot stamp is Crumb Cake. I love this colour combo and I hope you do too!
Well off to get started on that video folks! Keep on stampin!
Well good morning my lovelies and what a morning it has been!
The monthly Coffee and Card class was the biggest yet with 6 ladies attending. Of course I forgot to take photos until two ladies had left sorry Gail and Judy!!
We made this card today and the ladies had a choice of four colours incorporating the Gingham Gala, Delightful Daisy and Painted Harvest sets. Of course the Daisy punch was used to punch out the stamped daisies! You might be able to see from the photo the different colours used and all co-ordinated beautifully. Stampin Up make it so simple for colour co-ordination.
So we all sponged around the three front sections including the Gingham Gala piece. The sentiment is from the gorgeous Wonderful Romance bundle. The sentiment was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White and we used the circle punch to punch it out and then sponged around that. It was adhered using Stampin Dimensionals. We also used the Wink of Stella pen to add a little sparkle to the Daisy. Also stamped the fern and leaf images from the Painted Harvest set and punch a few leaves out with the leaf punch. A lot of different products used but we were finished well within out time limits and all the ladies were very happy with the results. This card really showcases the Daisy punch and the Gingham Gala paper really well.
All of the products used are listed below and if you would like to order any please call me or order through my shop here online.
Hope you like today’s card as much as the ladies did making them. Next Coffee and Card class is on Tuesday 9th April at 9.30am, Round Table Coffee, Gawain Road Bracken Ridge. Cost is $5 you purchase your own coffee though. A great fun morning. Bookings essential so call me on 0419721561 as I can only fit in about 7 ladies at a time!
Until next time, keep on Stampin!
Good Sunday morning to you all my lovelies!

If you would like to come along it is $25 which includes making three cards with the techniques that we learn and also includes all supplies and refreshments.
Today’s card which is not a card it is actually a little treat box. I have had this set for a while now and have been itching to make something with it. I love to cook and what better stamp set and framelits to own than this one! The little utensils are so cute and it can be for male or female as there are BBQ utensils as well. So versatile. Don’t forget when you purchase a new stamp set or bundle always look at the little stamps and framelits they can come in handy when you just can’t find something to add to that special little project. The little flowers in this set are adorable and I can see I will use them not just when using this set but with so many other sets as well.
Would love to know your thoughts on this little treat box, please leave a comment here on my blog!
I haven’t filled the box yet because I haven’t baked anything to go into it but plan on making some little tiny cookies to fill it with to give to someone special. MMmmmmm who could that be????

Good afternoon my lovelies!
Well had a great holiday but couldn’t wait to get back into the craft room. So have spent today prepping for my Coffee and Card Class on Tuesday, I have 6 lovely ladies coming and can’t wait to catch up with them all. Still time if you would like to come along. Its at 9.30am at Round Table Coffee on Gawain Road Bracken Ridge. Call me on 0419721561 if you are interested.
Today’s card is actually the card I have made for my Mum’s Birthday which is on Saturday. She is in a nursing home with Alzheimer’s so she won’t see it so I am sharing it with you before I actually give it to her.
I did white heat embossing on vellum using the Beautiful Day stamp set then coloured on the back using Stampin Blends (Daffodil Delight and Old Olive). Love how this technique turns out. You do have to fussy cut the rose out though! I used the Tin Tile Dynamic embossing folder to emboss the background and the wording is from the new Well Written framelits which are just amazing and still available in the Occasions Catalogue. So many words!!!
I did punch some more leaves out using the leaf punch and a little thinlet from the Beauty Abounds set. Another great set to check out in the Occasions catalogue. I looked around for something to accentuate my picture and found this lonely little yellow rose in my garden, not quite a match and it’s not the yellow rose of Texas but it will do.
Let’s know what you think of today’s card by leaving a comment here and if you would like any of the products don’t forget to check out the product list below and then go to my online store to order. Remember it’s still Saleabration until the end of March so if you purchase $90 or more you get to choose free gifts! Check out the brochures here on my blog site!
Well that’s about it for today, hope you all have a great weekend! Stay safe and keep on stampin!!!
