And a happy Saturday morning to you all!
After a little computer work this morning I just had to have an hour or so in the craft studio to create something! Here is the end result. The window box thinlets were screaming at me to put some stained glass in them! No I’m not hearing voices! I just wanted to use something that I hadn’t used in awhile but is still a current Stampin Up product. I used the beautiful new Blackberry Bliss card stock, coloured one of the sheets of stained glass vellum to make the windows for the box. The butterfly on top is cut using the left over vellum. Even the husband liked it!!! It could be used as a gift box and filled with choccies or soap or jewellery and utilised as a candle Votive Holder afterwards.
Happy with the outcome! I will make some more to take to the market day on 4th August! NB if you make one don’t use a real candle will you!! These are just for the battery operated LED lights! 🙂
The colouring of the vellum took the longest but so enjoyed doing it as it is so therapeutic and relaxing with my music playing in the background. I used various stampin blends to colour with. I also used the small square from the stitched framelits.
I can also do classes on this if anyone would like to come and make one, call me to book a class 0419721561.
Hope you have a fantastic weekend and thanks for stopping by!

July to December 2018 classes
With Father’s Day coming up in September I will be making a few cards for this special occasion. My classes in July and August will be mainly with Male cards. This particular card is using Tropical Chic and Seasonal Layers! Although we live in the tropics we still love our little fires in winter time don’t we!!
I have used embossing paste coloured with Crumb Cake to do the brick wall in the background.
I will posting the class and event dates for the rest of the year when these are finalised shortly.
Hope you like today’s card the products used are listed below.
Have a great day hope to see you soon at my classes!
Its Wednesday morning and we have been to the park as its a Billy Day today. But got home and checked my emails and OMG. Check out this bundle, it wasn’t on my shopping list but it certainly is now and should be on yours as well. This set makes it so easy to create beautiful gatefold cards! If you would like to add this to your shopping list or order it now, please call me to order or you can put an online order in now. Absolutely amazing! It’s going on my shopping list.
Have a great day!
HI again, as promised, here are some pics of my craft room now tidied. Even made a cute little desk organiser for my pens and tools etc. My little helper had to be in the pic as well. You were so well behaved today Tilly!!
Now , who wants to come join me for some fun crafting?
Well my lovelies, welcome to Monday and it’s clean up time! OMG spent yesterday reorganising my cardstock and today it’s the rest of the craft room. So much to do! Got half way and decided it was coffee and cake time! I promise I will not spill my coffee! Made this card front the other day but haven’t gotten around to mounting it on card yet but thought I would share it with my coffee and cake today. Check out the gorgeous marble DSP as background. It’s in the petal promenade DSP how gorgeous is it!!
I saw a similar card design on Pinterest and then put my own spin on it! I scored every centimetre one way and then every centimetre the other way. The simply score tool is great for this or you can use your stampin trimmer. I then coloured ever second square using my aqua painter and ink pads in Mint Macaron and pink pirouette and vellum. Then cut squares with the stitched framelits and the amazing you is from the Celebrate You thinlets. Was really happy with the outcome, goes great with my coffee don’t you think?
Heres a pre photo of the messy craft room and when done will share the after photo! If I ever get through it!!!
Stay tuned for a cleaner updated craft room pic!!
Here’s a list of products used in today’s card all of which you can purchase from my online store!
Have a great day
Was in the garden yesterday with Billy and picked some beautiful hibiscus flowers that are out in bloom. Of course when I saw the Tropical Chic bundle I knew I had to have it. Got the deliver yesterday as well and here’s my first card using the bundle. The DSP is gorgeous even though I didn’t use it in this card as I made my own using one of the stamps. The colours of the stamped flowers was inspired by my own flowers. Hope you like it. I’m loving the suite and hope to make some more cards using it shortly. I cut some foliage with vellum as well for a little extra texture!
Check out the bundle on page 121 of the new catalogue, I know you will love it!! It comes with matching thinlets. Don’t forget if you purchase the bundle its cheaper with 10% off!
Hope you have a great day!
Had another lovely coffee and card class today and came home and made this video tutorial on the card I recently made using the Petal Promenade Suite. I love these products and this Suite makes it very easy to make those very hard sympathy cards. Hope you like the video, let me know what you think!
Looking forward to Chris’s workshop on Sunday. If you would like to get some great new products for free, book your workshop or class now call me to book in on 0419721561.

Cheers for now and have a great evening!
Well do you believe in love at first sight! I didn’t until I saw this beautiful Petal Promenade Suite just released by Stampin Up. As soon as I saw it, this card was created in my head!
Well today I got delivery of some of the goodies in this suite and I got to work before my visitors came today and tadaaa!!! Here it is!!!
Although this is a card for difficult times, the roses and gorgeous flowers in the DSP lend themselves to sympathy. I need to build my supply of sympathy cards and this is a treasured card to my addition. I truly love this suite. It is on page 107 of the new catalogue. If you don’t have a new catalogue, please contact me to receive one or check it out online here on my blog site!!
Would love to know that you think of this card. Please leave a comment for me!!!
I think we might make something like this on Monday t the Coffee and Card Class. Remember if you wish to attend please call and book in at 0419721561.
