Hi there all!
Spent a morning in the craft room with air con on wow have had so much fun. Had a play with a couple of new stamp sets and another play with the brusho techniques. They are still drying so will post later but I am really impressed with how they are looking!
The first card is from the Heartfelt blooms stamp set. This is a little different to the red rubber stamps we normally see. They have taken a photo of a bunch of blooms and converted it into a really neat stamp. It can still be coloured as I have done on this card but it looks a remarkably beautiful stamp in one colour. This is actually in three layers. The stamp is stamped three times, once on the card in sahara sand, and twice more in sahara sand on scrap pieces of paper. I then coloured the flowers with my Stampin Blends on one stamp and then did the leaves in stampin blends in old olive. I then fussy cut them out (that’s the hard part) I then layered them over the original image on the card base. I used Soft Sky and whisper white cardstock for mounting the flowers. Loving the stampin blends and this beautiful stamp set. Of course guess what, you can’t buy it but you can get it for free when you spend $90 during Saleabration, but so worth it!
My next card was using the Epic Celebrations stamp set. Im always looking for new male type cards or cards for the younger generation. This is one stamp set that will solve that problem. Very easy card using real red cardstock and whisper white cardstock as well as white craft ink for the stamping.
I have listed the materials used at the end. Hope you like these cards as much as I enjoyed making them today.
Check in a little later when my brusho cards are finalised! Can’t wait to see the end result!
Cheers for now!
