Daisy Delight Vase of Daisies

Wow look at the flowers I got today!!  No my darling husband didn’t send them to me, I made them myself with the new Daisy punch from Stampin Up.  Love it!!  So easy to punch out heaps of daisies.   I needed the pick me up as I have a terrible head cold.

How I did it –

  • Cut two of the same colour daisies using the daisy punch and overlap them and glue in the centre.  I also molder them with a flower molding tool just to give them some dimension but this is optional!
  • When the glue is dry, pierce two holes in the centre using the paper piercing tool and then thread florist wire up and back through the two holes.
  • I use the half inch punch and the centre stamp from the Daisy Delight stamp set to create the centres!

I think they look great on my craft desk, no need to water them either!!  If you would like to do a class on a bunch of daisy, contact me now so we can get started.  Remember June is a great time to host a workshop as well.  Great incentives for hostesses.

For those with children, I am now a blue card holder and can now hold classes for kids!!  Some great projects for the young ones to make and take.  Contact me now!!!

Specialty Designer Paper retiring.jpg

Making the most of some of the retiring products and of course the beautiful new incolours.  Trying to build up my card stocks for my market day at Bracken Ridge State School on Sunday 4th June.

The petite petals card (top) is using the petite petals stamp with Melon Mambo, Soft Sky and lemon lime twist for the petals.  Its always great when you design your own background with just stamps and inks!!  The label is the new Label me pretty punch and matching stamp set.

The Daisy card is a 15 x 15 square card for a change using the Daffodil Delight DSP and the new daisy punch.  This is a great card to do heaps of layering as its easy to remember the measurements always a centimeter less than the previous layer!!!  (Im a lazy stamper sometimes)

The Lemon Lime twist happy birthday card features the retiring Specialy designer series paper which I just think is so amazing. It is white and I have sponged and blended the colours then trimmed in the beautiful new lemon lime twist ribbon and itty bitty bow!!

Email me now to get any of these products before they retire or to find out how you can get your new catalog containing all the new beautiful stamp sets, inks and embellishments!!!

Virtual Class 9th May 2017

Hi everyone!

Very excited to announce that on Tuesday evening 9th May, from 7.30pm (AEST) I will be holding my very first facebook live virtual class.  For all of you who can’t get out and about and are just wondering what I have been rambling on about lately, here’s your chance to sit back in your own home with a drink and some nibblies and have a look at how it’s all done.  If you like what you see you can place an order at just the click of a few buttons.  I will be making a card or two, there will be opportunities for prizes for anyone who drops by to have a look and leaves a comment during the class.  It only goes for an hour and who knows you may even enjoy the art of papercrafting.  Worth having a look at I say!!  So get the kids to bed early – tell the hubby to go out for the evening on you, put on your fluffy slippers and dressing gown, grab a drink or two or three and some nibbles and settle back with your laptop, ipad, iphone or any device and check me out on Tuesday.  If you’re lucky I may even make you laugh a bit.  So what could be better!  AND GUESS WHAT – I’m free.  No cost involved.

Hope to see you on Tuesday night!!

Eastern Medallions

Eastern Medallions Cards.jpg
Isn’t it amazing the difference colour makes!  Here I have made two cards in the same design, the only difference being the colour and that the dapper denium blue one has a stamped centre in the midde of the medallion whereas the crumb cake card has a die cut centre.  It must be noted that the spotted ribbon is not Stampin Up it was a scrap piece I had been wanting to use up.  The medallions are cut while the card whole and then trimmed off and the base card cut.  Easy peasy!!!   Im loving these dies!!! Let me know what colour you prefer!!!  Im really happy with these cards please let me know your thoughts!!!  Leave a comment here!
