Welcome to the weekend all!!
The rain is coming down here today and it is beautiful to see and hear. A little fur baby isn’t happy though and doesn’t like storms so Tilly is hiding in our wardrobe! I hope the drought ravaged areas are getting some. With the rain outside what better time to spend in the craft room. Before we left overseas I ordered the beautiful Christmas Countdown project kit and have finally had time to make it up. Such a fantastic project to make yourself as the kit comes with everything you will need. What fun it would be to open a drawer every day in December and find a little treat! Great for a family activity together as well. I used some stamps that I already had but no stamping required if you down’t want to as the kit has everything you need (except the glue) but there are some lovely stick on decorations as well. Check it out on page 38 of the Holiday catalogue.
If you purchase the kit, I will provide a free class (cost of refreshments only $5) where you can put it altogether plus a fun morning or afternoon of crafting. If you wish to stamp anything I will also supply stamps and inks to use at the class. Call me to place your order and book the class ASAP. Or order the kit at my 24/7 online shop and call or message me to book a suitable time for the class. Call 0419721561.

I hope you like this great little project, now off I go into the craft room to make some cards today. Have a great weekend everyone!
Sorry for the delay in this Coffee and Card Class post but there was an update on my phone and the photos were saved in a different format!! I will say no more but thank my husband for being my IT Department and finally got them sorted! Crisis averted!!
So the card we made on Tuesday was a Christmas card using the Brightly Gleaming DSP as mentioned in my previous blog post today. This is a good all round DSP not just for Christmas. Check it out in the Holiday Catalogue.
Here’s the card
Thank you again for all the lovelies who came along for a fun morning yet again. Petra, Dell, Judy, Gloria, Helen, Barb and Chris. Coffee and Card Classes are held the second Tuesday of each month at 9.30am Rountable Coffee Gawain Road Bracken Ridge. Cost of the class is $5 – purchase your own coffee and come and make a card and join in the fun! Bookings essential please call Beth o 0419721561.
FOR A BIT OF FUN!
Let me know a type of card you would like to see me make so I can make it and post it here. I will select two cards – I will need the occasion and a colour scheme of your choice – I will accept the challenge as I love a challenge!!! And go…..
Well another short blog post but hey got two out in one day! Now I’m off to do a bit of work in the garden after the beautiful bit of rain we have had. Until next time, keep on crafting.
Just a message to let you know that the upcoming scrapbooking class scheduled for Tuesday 15th will need to be postponed. Unfortunately I have a few medical issues I need to deal with – let’s just say old age is catching up but I’m not going to let it stop me, just need to have a few repairs done so this bod can keep up with my mind!
Hope you are all well and don’t forget to check out the Holiday Catalogue here on my blog page. This Snowfall Accents Puff Paint is awesome. Adds great texture to any project.
But I have to show you the most beautiful DSP in the catalogue, my favourite is the brightly gleaming DSP. Those lovelies who came to the Coffee and Card class got to use it and see how beautiful it is. Not only does it have use at Christmas time but all year round, as you will see. Of course all double sided. The card we made at the coffee and card class used both sides of the paper.
As I leave this blog post for today, I will keep you informed of upcoming classes and events but if you would like to order any of the products please feel free to do so by using my online 24/7 safe and secure shop here on my blog post, just one click away. Both the Holiday Catalogue and the Annual Catalogue are here on my blog page for you to view. Or if you want, please feel free to contact me on 0419721561 to place your order or to get your paper copy of the catalogues.
There will be a Christmas Card making day coming up soon as well as the postponed scrapbooking class.
Look forward to seeing you soon. Take care and keep on crafting!
Well hello everyone,
Hope this finds you all well!
We are so glad to be home although it was a fantastic trip of a life time in the Mediterranean. Nice to have a great holiday but always so nice to come home. Our fur baby Tilly was very pleased to see us, we missed her so much!
Now its time to get back into our routine and I for one have a lot of scrapbooking to do with all the nearly 3,000 photos I took. Of course there are a lot of dud ones so I will be sifting through photos sorting out the better ones to scrapbook.
Well the Stampin Up holiday catalogue was launched while I was away and there are some fantastic Christmas themed products and I will be show casing some of these over the next few weeks. If you don’t have a copy of please let me know and I can get one to you. I am in the process of adding the link to my blog page so you will be able to view it shortly on line.
NEXT COFFEE AND CARD CLASS
The next Coffee and Card class will be on Tuesday 8th October at 9.30am at Roundtable Coffee Gawain Road Bracken Ridge, please call me and book in on 0419721561 as I would love to see you there. Cost is only $5 for the class – you purchase your own tea or coffee. We will be doing a Christmas card this month to get you started on your Christmas cards!
Well here are a couple of snaps from the holiday!
Until next time, stay safe and keep on stampin!
Hi all my lovelies!
It’s been far too long between posts so thought I would show you a couple of cards I have done recently. We have been busy packing and preparing for our big upcoming trip to the Mediterranean!
Unfortunately I had to cancel this weeks coffee and card class due to illness. Gary and I have both had this dreaded virus and now under a week until we leave on our big trip!!!
Lots of celebrating to be had in this household in August, Gary has a big birthday celebration coming up turning 60 on Friday and also retiring, so have made a card for him. I will show you Gary’s card as I don’t think he will see it, he doesn’t follow my blog!!! He loves his guitar playing and music so of course the theme was music inspired.
The featured card was the one I created for the Coffee and Card class and had prepped for the class prior but had to cancel as I wasn’t feeling very well at all. It is a male card which could be used for a birthday or for Father’s day. Using the All Geared Up stamp set and dies.
Hope you like the cards!
By the time I get back at the end of September, the Annual Holiday Catalogue will have been released. I have purchased some products but haven’t had time to have a play. There are some fantastic Christmas themed products in there so will have a play on my returned.
This will be the last blog post for awhile as we leave on Tuesday for 5 weeks in the Mediterranean. We very excited about our big trip and no doubt there will be lots of scrapbooking on our return.
I will be posting on FB so you can follow our travels on my FB page if you wish.
Until then, stay safe, well and happy and keep on crafting!
Good Morning everyone!
Hope this finds you all well. Sorry its been a long time in between posts but have had some sick grandies to look after and we all know how much sick children can take up your time. Loving spending time with them sick or not, they are always a pleasure to have around.

Happy Weekend Everyone!
Such a beautiful day too nice to be inside but I just had to get into the craft room after being away on a trip up north to see some Grandies! Had to tidy it up today as well as I have a new addition coming to the room – I bought a Brother Scan N Cut! OMG I am so excited I just had to clear a bit of desk space to add it. I just need to name him now so any suggestions most welcome!
So I went to my garden picked a punch of flowers, meticulously pressed them and then added them to this card! NOT!!! This is just a card front from the new Pressed Petals DSP. This card was just so simple to make and you can make many similar cards with this beautiful new DSP. Check it out now its in the current Annual Catalogue but here’s a nice pic. How gorgeous is it! I love every sheet in this set and I love the blue flowers which I think are cornflowers?? The pressed petal washi tape goes very well with this DSP as well. Remember every $90 spend in July you will received a $9 coupon to spend in August. Only 10 days left of July!
Hope you liked today’s card the products used are listed below.
I’m now off back to my craft room! Have a great week and keep on crafting!
