New Blog site coming soon!

Hello all my lovelies,

Hope this finds you all well.  I just wanted to let you know that in the coming weeks or months (depending on how techy I get) I will have a new blog site and this current one will no longer be available.  I will let you know though when it will be happening and until then you can still shop on line, view any of my posts and browse through the catalogues here.

My new site is very exciting for me and I hope for you as well.  A whole new look, I’ll still be Wynning Creations but the look of the blog page will be all new!  Wooohoooo!  I can’t wait.

There are quite a few retiring products and clearance items available at the moment as the new catalogue starts on 3rd June and I can’t wait for that!  Check out the clearance rack and you can get some great bargains!

I am thoroughly enjoying doing the free Zoom cardmaking classes of a Tuesday morning and evening and it is certainly keeping me on my toes!  We are having so much fun.  If you want to join in send me an email and I’ll send you the Zoom link and if you want to make the card along with me I’ll send you all the supplies you will need with the measurements etc.  You can use whatever card stock, papers and embellishments you have at home you don’t have to have the same as me!  That will get you all creative!!!  email me at Or call me on 0419721561.

Its just a quick post today to let you know of the changes coming.

Keep on Stampin!

Hello all my lovelies!

Cannot thank you all enough for tuning into my free zoom classes.  I just love doing these during lock down.  And guess what, you can wear whatever you like!!!  Next week’s classes promise to be even better and more fun so hope you can spread the word to your friends and get them to join in with us.

The winners of the door prizes were for the 10am class Barb, and for the evening Class Joy!  Congrats to all!  Joy can you please email me your address so I can send your prize out to you!

So as promised here are the cards that the ladies made in the morning class – no takers to make the card in the evening class but maybe next week.  You don’t have to make the card, you can just sit and watch if you want!  I will be posting the supply list soon.   I keep the photo of the card a secret so you can be creative all on your own!  Get those thinking caps on!  If you are having problems though or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me on 0419721561.

I love seeing what you all come up with – such clever ladies!

As you know I design these classes so that anyone who doesn’t have a lot of craft supplies and adapt using whatever they have on hand.  I totally understand not everyone can have everything.   As long as you have a pair of scissors some paper or cardstock, glue and a few embellishments or stamps inks etc, anything is possible.  You can even use up old cards that you have been hording away.  Of course if you would like to purchase anything from me, please go to my online store and check out the current catalogues and don’t forget to check out the clearance rack for some great BARGAINS!  My shop is safe and secure.

Next week will be another fun fold card and I think also next week everyone has to wear something on their head, not necessarily a hat – can be anything at all!  Just to add to the fun of it!  There will be a morning and an evening class also and a prize at each class!  This time the prizes will go to the best card with the best head dress that I will be judging just to add to the fun of it all!

Keep an eye out on facebook for the supply list for next week!

Here’s Rae’s  card

Here’s Petra’s Card

That’s about it for now, will be doing a newsletter soon as well so keep an eye out on your inboxes!!!

Keep on Stampin

Hi Everyone,

If you didn’t tune in to the class today this is what you missed.

Petra won the door prize of the lovely Peaceful Poppies Elements and a Snail adhesive.  Congratulations Petra!

The card is using the Scrappy Strip technique.  Such an effective card.  As you can see by the photos of the ladies cards, it doesn’t matter what papers you use they all look terrific.  A great way to use of some of those scraps you have lying around.   I used the See a Sihouette DSP only available until the end of May in the Annual Catalogue.  It is such beautiful bright paper and is great for scrapbooking as well.  If you would like to order please let me know or order online at my 24/7 shop.

Here are some cards that the ladies made today, so proud of them, they did such a great job.

Ok so there will be another card class next week 10am on Zoom.  I will post the supplies you need in the next few days.  It will be a card for a toddler so it will be super cute!  Let’s see what I can come up with!  Another door prize is up for grabs and don’t forget to let your friends know so spread the word!

Hope this finds you all safe and well and hopefully it won’t be too much longer before we can see each other in person.  I will also send the Zoom link in a day or so.

Cheers for now

Hi Everyone,

WOW – had our very first zoom coffee and card class yesterday and it was so much fun.  If you haven’t used zoom yet don’t be frightened of the technology it is so easy to use, believe me if I can do it anyone can.  I send the link and all you do is click on the link put in the id and the password supplied and you’re in!  You can download the app if you want as well.

Here’s the card I made yesterday just while the ladies sat back and watched but NEXT week YOU can participate. There were lots of techniques included so it took a little while but I think everyone learnt something!

If you would like to participate in next week’s class just let me know so I can send you a list of what you will need, (these supplies will be what you have at home you do not need to purchase anything from me unless you want to!).  This is all about having fun and teaching new techniques which is what I love most!  AND Of course interacting with other human beings apart from my husband during these times! hahaha

Also I am attaching the list of retiring products from 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue and the 2020 Mini Catalogue as the new Annual Catalogue comes out in June which is full of very exciting new products.

Coffee Mug Instructions and Video

Hello all,

As promised on my youtube video here are the instructions for the coffee mug.  I do have some of the measurements on the video but here is the written document.  Would love to see yours if you make one.  Feel free to send me your pics.   Please subscribe to my youtube chanel and my newsletter to be notified of all the happenings at Wynning Creations.

If you live in Australia, don’t forget to enter the draw to win a card kit, stamp set and a liquid glue valued at over $50.

Also here is the video

Materials needed:

Scoreboard (or ruler, pencil and a scoring tool of some sort)

Envelope Punch Board (optional)

1 x Cardstock paper sized 9½ x 7¾ (inches)  24.1cms x 19.7cms

6 strips of Matching DSP (decorative paper) cut in 3 inches x 1¼ inches  (7.6 x 3.2cms)

Strip for handle measuring 1/2″ x 6″

Double sided tape and or glue

Using your scoreboard or ruler – on the long side (9½ inch side) long side at the top of the scoreboard, score at 1½ inches (3.8), 3inches(7.6), 4½inches (11.4), 6inches (15.2), 7½inches (19) and 9inches (22.9).

Turn the card around and with the 7¾ inch side at the top of the scoreboard, score at 1½ (3.8) inches, and at 5¼ (13.3) inches.

Now burnish all the score lines with your bone folder.

On the reverse side of your card, place your six panels of decorative paper in the centre panels.  Ensure that the shorter scored panels are at the bottom of the card and the longer panels are at the top.  Place the strips of decorative paper just below the top scored line.

Turn card over.  Down the left hand side of the card you will see a long thin scored panel.  You will need to cut off the two smaller rectangular pieces and then cut a little wedge on each side of the longer piece.

Apply double sided tape to the strip most of the way down the side of the card stock which has been cut.

If doing the decorative hole punch Place in envelope punch board or decorative punch if you have one and line up the shorter score line is lined up with the centre of the envelope punch and then punch out all the sections out along each of the folds.  Ensure you also cut the end one off as well.

Now we can assemble.

Apply double sided tape along the top of the card stock (ie the largest flaps section)  Then another piece of double sided tape along the wedged flap which will go inside of the folded down section.  Fold the top piece down so that this reinforces the cup.

Cut up all score lines on the smaller tabs.

Fold these over to form the base.

Cut or punch out  a circular 21/2 ” circle to adhere to base (optional).

For the handle, curl the strip with your bone folder for make it curl and adhere to coffee mug with liquid glue.  Hold in place until the glue takes.

Decorate and fill with yummies as required.

Hope you all have a great day!

Scrapbooking Class

Good morning my lovelies,

Just have to share some pics of my latest class I have done with some beautiful special needs ladies.  Here is Kelly doing her very first scrap book page and she had so much fun! (So did I).  Kelly’s carer Lesley helped out a little But Kelly did a wonderful job and the picture she chose was superb!  A weekly class now.  The beautiful carers do a wonderful job to look after people with disabilities and this outing to make cards and do a bit of scrapbooking is great to get them out and about to do something different.

I get so much out of running these classes and the social interaction afterwards over a cuppa and some cupcakes is great!

Thank you to Kelly’s parents and to Lesley for allowing me to share Kelly’s picture doing something that she just loved.

Now to go and decide on a two picture layout for next week!   These girls will have more scrapbooking done than me if I’m not careful!   🤣🤣

Hope you have a great day!

Coffee and Card Class – All Geared Up!!!

Good morning all,

Another great coffee and card class this month at the busy little Roundtable Coffee Shop in Bracken Ridge.  Yummy coffee, I had two today!  Thanks to Chris, Gloria, Helen, Judy and Gail who came today and let me take their photo to share!  We are now holding our Coffee and Card Classes twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.  Bookings essential remember!  0419721561 at least a couple of days prior to the class.  Cost is only $5.

The card we made was one that I had prepped for last year but due to illness I couldn’t do the class and its been sitting in my craft room all prepped and so I decided we needed to make it.  I know I struggle with the male cards but this one seemed to tick all the boxes especially for the mechanically minded male!

Here’s the card we did and all the products used are listed below.  A very simple card using Geared Up Garage stamp set and dies.  We used different foil sheets some ladies had the copper foil some had the Grapefruit Grove only as I was using up what I had left in my stash!  Either looks just great!  The card below is using the Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets, see how it picks up the light reflections!!  Cool hey!

Everyone who came today also automatically goes into the draw to win a stamp set and card kit, drawn at the end of April.  If you would like to go into the draw all you have to do is book into any of my classes call me today on 04169721561 to book in for a class that suits you, Coffee and Card, Scrapbooking Class (held last Saturday of each month), one on one class or a workshop at your place where you can earn free Stampin Up products.
